OSE The Nigerian Cinderella

Margaret Omokhodion Tari is teacher, a writer, a designer, and an artist. She was born in Uromi, Edo State, Nigeria. Before moving to the United States in 1989, she earned a higher National diploma in Textile design from Auchi Polytechnic in Nigeria. In the United States, she decided to pursue a career in education. She went through an alternative certification program which enabled her to get into the field of education.

Margaret has always loved working with children. She taught Sunday school for many years. So this was an easy transition for her. Once she was in the Kentucky school system, she went on to complete a master's program in education at the Indiana Wesleyan University. She also obtained a rank one license at Indiana University Southeast. Margaret taught in the Jefferson County Public School system Louisville Kentucky from 1999 to 2019. Now as a retired teacher, she has more time to focus on her art and writing.
