We can't wait to welcome you to the Roots 101 African American Museum. Here's what you need to know before you arrive.

Location

Our museum is located at 124 N 1st St, Louisville, KY 40202. We're conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Louisville, just a few blocks away from the Ohio River and within walking distance of many other local attractions.

Hours of Operation

We're open from 10:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday through Saturday. We're closed on Sundays, Mondays, as well as on major holidays such as Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Admission

General admission to the museum is $13 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $10 for children ages 5-12. Children under 5 are free! We also offer discounts for military personnel and AAA members. Please see our admissions information for an in depth look at tour pricing.

Group Tours
